외 시키기도 한다. 또, 가깝고도 먼 여러 사람에게 상처를 주고 받기도 한다. 이런 것이 사람 사는 일이라고 해도 작가는 인간의 원형적인 외로움과 가여움에 온기를 불어 넣고 싶다고 한다. 작가의 작품이 누군가에게 위로가 된다면 좋겠다. 나는 물감을 위주로 쓰는 페인팅을 전공했지만 다른 소재들를 작업에 도입하는 데 편견이 없다. 그저 그 순간의 나를 표현하는데 가장 적합한 것들을 선택할 뿐이다. 근래에 나와 동반하고 있는 재료는 '실'이다. 작업하면서 실이 가진 부드럽고 여리고 자유로운 느낌과 다채로운 색상을 누리며 기쁨과 만족을 얻고 있다. 한 가닥 한 가닥의 실은 너무 소소하여 존재감이 없지만, 그 가는 몸짓 하나하나가 모여 어떤 세계을 펼쳐 나갈 때면 마치 교향악단의 조화로운 연주를 감상하는 듯하다. 한 악기라도 더하거나 빼면 그 소리가 나지 않듯 나의 삶과 그림 작업에서 일어나는 모든 일들을 묵묵하고 감사하게 받아들이고 싶은 소망을 작업 과정에 담았다.

Recognizing the inherent complexities of human existence, I, as an artist, strive to breathe warmth into the spaces of loneliness and vulnerability. In moments when nobody is on their side, I hope my artwork serves as a source of solace, extending a visual embrace to kindle warmth in the hearts of those who may need it. Even having majored in fine art, primarily focusing on paints, artist JunEun Bae embraces resilience and artistic freedom. Rather than confining herself to a specific medium, Bae dynamically chooses materials that best capture the essence of the moment. Recently, her creative journey has been intertwined with the softness and freedom of wool, a choice that brings her immense joy. In the intricate strands of wool, individually unremarkable, Bae finds a metaphor for life. The collective arrangement transforms them, akin to a symphony where each strand contributes to the harmonious whole. This orchestration, for Bae, symbolizes the delicate balance she strives for in her art and life. With a humble approach, she expresses gratitude for the precious events that unfold in her life and artistic journey.
